Martin is the name of the first cat belonged to designer Maria Alberino. As a very resolute foundling, he always knows how to make himself heard and how to capture attention; he is also a bit grumpy, but he remains a mother's boy. This warm-toned jewel was inspired by the shades of Martin’s fur, the ones typical of the well-known ginger white cat, that is, red and white.
Every detail of the pendant is enriched by the presence of the chosen stone: carnelian, a variety of chalcedony, sacred to ancient Egyptians, who used it to represent the blood of goddess Isis and to Buddhists, who considered it to be one of the seven treasures.
