Anyone who is familiar with carnelian knows that it is a special stone from the quartz family. For ancient Egyptians it was a symbol of life, whereas for Buddhists it represents the seven treasures and stands for wisdom.

That’s one reason why we chose carnelian to create a special red brooch, dedicated to Martin, a cat with a ginger/white coat, an irreducible mother's boy, sweet and loving, but also shy, a little possessive and grumpy.
